Times Colonist Health Club Challenge

Recreation Oak Bay has partnered with the Times Colonist, Pacific Institute for Sports Excellence, Victoria, Saanich and West Shore Parks and Recreation departments, and Pure Nutrition in offering a healthy lifestyle program that will provide education on exercise plans, food nutrition and staying motivated to get healthy and fit.
For 12 weeks, starting January 15, 2012 the Times Colonist will publish in print and online, stories that will help readers live a healthier and happier lifestyle with goal setting charts, menus and workout plans. Registered participants will get weekly email tips and encouragement and tools to measure their progress – read the Times Colonist newspaper or online at www.timescolonist.com each Thursday for weekly nutrition and fitness tips to help you reach their personal nutrition and fitness goals.
Follow along using the Nutrition and Fitness Tracking Guide that can be downloaded from the PISE website [PDF - 1.9 MB].
Attend the final event, at the end of the 12-week period, on April 15 from 9am-12pm. This will be the time where we will re-test you on your fitness tests, results are only seen by you.
