From light to high intensity work-outs, Recreation Oak Bay offers many drop-in fitness classes to suit your schedule.
Aerobics and Fitness classes are included with your Annual Pass. Annual Pass holders will be given a 50% discount for Jazzercise.
Attendant monitoring is available during various times, please see program guide for more information.

Body Band, Body Ball, Body Bar
Using select equipment (ball, bands or bars) for strength or endurance training has the added benefit of working on core muscles, balance and stability to help prevent injury.
This class works all the major muscle groups for a balanced workout.
Energy Booster
Launch your day with the New Energy Booster class. Cardio, resistance, and plyometrics training to provide a well balanced workout.
Hi/Lo Moderate/Mild
This class provides low impact, choreography and intensity options. Warm-up, 25-40 minutes of Cardio, Cool down and floor work (strength and stretch).
Noon Hour Express
Combine compound exercises and intervals to achieve time efficient and complete training. Make the most of your noon-hour fitness with aerobic, anaerobic, strength, balance, agility, and flexibility exercises.
Total Body Conditioning
Uses a variety of low choreography aerobics formats combined with strength and endurance work that uses the major muscle groups to improve overall fitness level. Lots of variety using different equipment is sure to keep you from getting bored in this class.
Advanced Step & Moderate Step
A challenging workout that uses step in choreographed step combinations mixed with Plyometrics and muscular endurance training.
Jazzercise
A 60-minute group fitness class combining cardio, strength, and stretch moves
for a total body workout. We’ve taken moves from hip-hop, yoga, Pilates, jazz dance, kickboxing, and resistance training and bundled them into one hour. All ages, levels, and sizes welcome so come join us today! Call 250-598-0830 for more Jazzercise information. Annual Pass holders will be given a 50% discount for Jazzercise.
