Kindergarten
children are transported by departmental vehicles from
Willows Elementary School to the Maple Room at Carnarvon
Centre for the after kindergarten care program. Carnarvon
Centre features the Rotary Water Park, lacrosse box,
and multiple fields for outside games. Out trips are
planned once a week to the gym at Henderson Recreation
Centre which is set up with a variety of sports equipment,
plasma cars, riding toys and occasional access to the
bouncy castle. Swimming is planned for Fridays at Oak
Bay Recreation Centre provided there are not a large
number of other groups booked in at that time. Occasional
out trips are also included in this program. PLEASE
NOTE: there is no morning kindergarten class at Willows
Elementary School on Wednesdays. Parents are welcome
to drop their children off at the Maple Room from 12pm
onwards.
